The fifth annual Pinehurst Barbecue Festival in Pinehurst, North Carolina, has quickly become one of the best barbecue events in the state. This year’s festival takes place August 29-31. Here’s some information about the event, followed up with what we’re giving away, so be sure to read to the end.

Seven North Carolina pitmasters are participating in the festival’s staple event—the Pitmaster Invitational on August 31, noon to 4 p.m., with early entry at 11 a.m. These pitmasters come from across the Tar Heel state—from Charlotte to Kenansville to the Triangle to “Down East.”

Food Network TV personality and Prime Barbecue restaurant founder Christopher Prieto returns for a fifth year as the event’s headliner. Here’s the award-winning roster of pitmasters who will prepare mouthwatering barbecue pork, beef, poultry, and more for festival attendees.
